Subconciously, I guess, is how I could describe it.
They're loud, and stupid, and they try to eat my pant legs. Some of them are stubborn, and have even tried to ram me more than once. Even when I'm the one assigned to take care of them as my daily chores.
I can't say I know all that much about goats, but that all sounds pretty typical for them. I guess having to deal with them day in and day out can take its toll if you're not an animal person.

[He's not much of an animal person if that animal is not an arachnid, no. But goats are particularly egregious to Henry, and they have been since his arrival in this world.]
That's right. Beyond the slight connection I can feel with it, why else would it targets goats and only goats? It wasn't interested in anyone else unless they approached or aggravated it first.

It's still lurking around the outskirts of the settlement, presumably. A few others fought it off when it was becoming too aggressive with the goat population, slaughtering a few here and there.
Makes me wonder just what else is out there beyond the veil. You remember what it looked like in the vision, didn't you? Like an amalgamation.

The pit was... connected. Like a hivemind. Not like this thing, though I think it's retained a connection with myself, individually.

Yeah, it sort of looked like multiple things fused together. It also had an arcana symbol. The Hierophant — I assume that's yours?

In the vision, its face also shifted to look like yours, just for a second. I think there's no denying that you're linked.
