[the package is given to the family that steve is staying with, with the promise that it'll be placed in his room. inside, an amount of homemade goods have been stacked atop each other: candles, soaps, and moisturizing lotions.

something else lies wrapped, though, and once opened, it'll reveal itself to be a pair of socks, sewn and stitched together by herself. whether magic was used to finish the project or to be made look like what the pattern is intended to be is anyone's guess.
