Yes. Papa wasn't a "therapist" like my mother thought, or anything so innocuous. He was a senior research scientist. The director of the facility I was kept in, all under the thumb of the US government.
I wasn't ever privy to the details. But there were tensions between nations at the time. Russia, I think.
